Leadership Summit 2007
Day 2 - Friday Session - "P.I.G." Day

The second day of our conference was a special treat for our Collegians. Ten authors of Regnery Publishing's The Politically Incorrect Guide™ (P.I.G.) spoke about the subjects they know best and how the left is trying to change everything from History to Science to fit their skewed vision of reality.

To kick things off, Kevin Gutzman, author of the The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution, gave a humorous lecture on the differences of opinion between the Left and Right on the Constitution. He talked about the Constitution's creation, history and future. Even though it was still early, the Collegians were at the mic ready to ask the tough questions!

Next up, The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History author Thomas Woods shared his insight into America's past and discussed how our future is dependant upon learning the actual history of our nation, not the high school textbook version.

One of the hot topics of the day, Jonathan Wells did his best to condense his book, The Politically Incorrect Guide to Darwinism and Intelligent Design, into the short amount of time he had behind the podium. As many of the students in attendance have struggled with arguments about evolution on their campuses, Wells had a huge line of students waiting to get advice and answer questions.

Our next interesting speaker Robert Murphy, author of The Politically Incorrect Guide to Capitalism. He knew so much about capitalism he threw most of the students for a loop! Many of the things he spoke about were entirely new ideas to all of us, but that's why we get so many different and exciting people to come speak at our Leadership Summits!

With the treasured speaking spot right before lunch, The
Politically Incorrect Guide to the South (and Why It Will Rise
Again) author Clint Johnston discussed some of the myths
and realities of the South
and how its okay to be proud to be from the South!

Always available to the Collegians, Phyllis Schlafly signed autographs in her newly revised book, The Supremacists, during the lunch break. Seen here with Collegians Director Cliff Martin, the two accidentally matched colors, much to their amusement!
